Where do we start the conversation?
We want to know about you and you about us. This site should hopefully give you enough to start talking with us. Not all of it will apply to you we hope it stimulates enough thought to strike up a conversation.
When you’re ready contact us by phone or email and let’s talk.
Our No1 -4 of the FAQ’s provide tips on how to prepare for a conversation with Yeates & Co…
What follows will tell you about Yeates & Co, how we think and approach the current world.

Who are we and what drives us?
Noel brings the insights of a career in media, technology and financial services with an entrepreneurial spirit founded in operating and selling five different businesses. Together with 20 years in private wealth and portfolio management, his knowledge and insights are a unique resource.
An on-air career at Fairfax Media group in Sydney and Adelaide skilled Noel at one-on-one communications, harnessing the ability to distil complex financial information into what is meaningful and relevant.
With a global background in information technology and strategy at EY International, Noel has consistently advised clients in aligning their financial and personal agendas.
This broad background has come together many times, such as at Macquarie, where in addition to his key role in advisory, he was Macquarie’s media spokesperson.
The fusion of experience led to him founding Yeates & Co Advisory. The firm uses a contemporary outlook that focuses on a unique Living and Legacy Approach to developing strategy. The four pillars of this approach – social, personal, financial and familial are the basis for developing advice and the subsequent management strategy –. This approach creates meaningful, long-lasting outcomes and elevates the term legacy from a slogan with money-left-over mindset to a real, long-lasting, strategic agenda.
Noel is driven to help clients ensuring their wealth has purpose, goals are met and their legacy endures. Through active advice and implementation, he delivers clarity, structure and measurable results.

The principles supporting our approach?
“Putting my name on the business is deliberate and comes with a certain spirited approach to serious issues such as managing money. My accountability and commitment to you is in the name. In my career, meeting so many people and hearing their stories, goals and dreams, I found every story is unique but with common themes: security, transparency and legacy.”
Yeates & Co’s skill is understanding and curating advice to fulfil your needs and wants today, tomorrow, and beyond. Our approach considers your rationale in creating a legacy that aligns today’s investment-management advice with your strategic and legacy objectives. In 20 years, it seems the advice industry has progressively become more focused on processes that serve the advice provider and their stakeholders and less on the client.
At Yeates & Co Advisory we put your needs first and it starts with a conversation.
Clients are the driver in our approach to advice and wealth management. The trust clients place in us requires and reflects our commitment to ethical and effective financial advice.

How do we approach advice?
We start with knowing your story.
Everyone tells their story their way. We work with you to understand your circumstances in the context of your relationships and the facts and data follow.
Our clients are our inspiration. At Yeates & Co you are not defined by a client number; rather, we see you as an individual with distinctive, idiosyncratic, or novel requirements, where your personality is celebrated and elevated.
This approach guides our advice as we help you realise your personal, family, and financial vision and achieve targeted performance from your assets.

What makes our approach original?
We create a current financial and investment strategy that links your needs and wants and becomes the foundations of a legacy.
The Yeates & Co Life and Legacy Approach starts with ambitions and intentions for the future and builds back toward today. When we understand our destination and why we want to go there or see on the way then a viable plan or plans can be developed. Plans that clearly understand risks and what and how you can expect to be rewarded for that risk.
Understanding the destination and the pathways is what drives superior outcomes. We help clients satisfy the universe of wants and aspirations. Along the way, we manage risk and deliver appropriate and targeted financial return as we progress your journey.
At Yeates & Co understanding how you think about and respond to the different types of risk is fundamental. Your understanding is invaluable to our guiding you through periods of market volatility and personal change.
Over time, we have been a part of many client conversations. This candour has led us to developing an original legacy-driven approach to advice, one based on individual social, personal, financial and familial aspirations and outcomes.
These fundamentals guide strategy, underpin investments and become your stamp of living. Sometimes this stamp could be financial; for others, the stamp is about family or career recognition.
All these factors combined are what make the Yeates & Co Advisory approach original.
Where does longevity meet good advice?

This nexus is important because it drives our advice process at an unprecedented time of individual longevity and prosperity.
Longevity and prosperity take on new significance and integrate the issues of an ageing society into a dynamic, familial and social structure.
What we do well – and have for many years – is develop strategies and financial outcomes towards your aspirational stamp. This occurs once we uncover the rationale for your immediate needs and either your future legacy or the one you may already have in place.
To shape legacy at a time of unmatched prosperity starts with us thinking what is really important to you. We encourage clients to think of this broadly within the four pillars of the Yeates & Co Living and Legacy Approach. From here we create a clearly communicated launchpad for the next generation to manage the future.
Could there be a better legacy for future generations?
At the heart of Yeates & Co is good advice with desired outcomes focused on your needs and aspirations and you use your resources to simply have a more enjoyable life.
Ruling from the grave can be enabled and respected.
Together we uncover your rationale and requirements for your legacy or in turn provide advice on what you have already built .
Think of a legacy as the profit of your humanity or existence consider what outflows and inflows are needed to deliver profit. ®
Helping families to avoid the downside of successful asset accumulation and wealth transfer between generations is one of the reasons we established Yeates & Co Advisory.
We exist to manage money that can enable the future.®
For every matter that makes it to court – imagine the number that do not?

How do we take today to tomorrow?
Yeates & Co recognises and embraces change.
At heart, most of us are conservative and slow to change. There’s nothing wrong with that; however, the world and life is not like that. At no time in history has society and life changed as rapidly as it is now.
Do we need to spell it out?
We know the future will be different; hence, our advice is contemporary. When we embrace change, we move to a more favourable position, one that is able to take advantage of opportunities.
There is movement that is planned and there are changes foisted on us by the world we live in. Our job is to navigate the course and find opportunities to deliver on purpose and legacy.
A legacy creates recognition and purpose. How you envision your legacy is a starting point and the milestones for directions and outcomes.
Legacy is one articulation of your stamp; it delivers on your purpose.
As we know there is no such thing as a static position and the future is different.
How do we take today to tomorrow?
We start with how you see your tomorrow. When we look at the common denominators of great people of history, they all hold a view of what their tomorrow looks like. Why wouldn’t you want that for yourself? We don’t do this for you; we help you reveal your dream to yourself and action this dream through your portfolio.
What a great legacy for future generations.
It’s a personal view; change we drive nurtures us. Change we have imposed on us or resist causes pains ®
